Timeless Elegance at Sea: The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection brings the brand’s legendary refinement to the open ocean, redefining luxury travel through an intimate yachting experience. From Evrima to Ilma and Luminara, each yacht is thoughtfully designed as a floating retreat, where contemporary elegance, expansive private terraces, and impeccable service create a seamless sense of comfort and exclusivity.

Sailing to extraordinary destinations across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and beyond, each voyage unfolds at a relaxed, unhurried pace. Days are shaped by discovery and indulgence — from world-class dining and serene moments on deck to exploring secluded ports inaccessible to larger ships. More than a journey, it is a refined passage where freedom, privacy, and The Ritz-Carlton’s signature hospitality meet the endless horizon.

Across the Pacific: From Canada’s Wild Edge to Japan

From Vancouver, where urban energy meets a dramatic natural setting, the journey moves north into the raw, untamed landscapes of Alaska. In Ketchikan and Sitka, the atmosphere is shaped by dense rainforest, island-dotted coastlines and a strong sense of cultural heritage, while Seward introduces a more expansive scenery of glaciers, fjords and open water. Further along, Dutch Harbor offers a remote and windswept character, where life feels closely tied to the sea and the vastness of the surrounding environment.

Crossing the Pacific brings a gradual shift in tone, leading into the refined yet approachable charm of Japan. Hakodate reflects a blend of cultures and a relaxed coastal rhythm, before the journey concludes in Yokohama, where a calm waterfront setting meets the energy of a major metropolitan gateway. Spanning continents, the experience flows from rugged wilderness to cultural depth, offering a seamless contrast between nature, history and modern life.

19 Days 18 Nights Vancouver to Tokyo - Itinerary

Map illustrating a travel route from Tokyo, Japan, through Alaska, Canada, and down the west coast of North America, with stops at Hakodate, Dutch Harbor, Seward, Sitka, and Ketchikan.

Framed by ocean and mountains, Vancouver sets the tone with a seamless mix of nature and cosmopolitan life. Wander through the historic charm of Gastown, where Victorian architecture meets modern boutiques and dining, or explore the lively artisan culture of Granville Island. The expansive greenery of Stanley Park offers coastal trails and forested paths, while Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park reveal panoramic views and immersive rainforest experiences.

Begin with a quiet day at sea before arriving in Ketchikan, where forested waterways and Native heritage define the landscape. Continue to Sitka, where indigenous and Russian influences come together, then pause once more at sea as the journey shifts northward. In Seward, gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, glaciers and marine life shape the experience, followed by a deeper passage across the North Pacific. A remote stop in Dutch Harbor introduces a rugged maritime culture before several days at sea carry you toward Japan. Arriving in Hakodate, discover a city shaped by international exchange and coastal traditions, before a final day at sea brings the journey to a reflective close.
