DAY 1

Embark on an enchanting 3-day, 2-night journey aboard the luxurious TWILIGHT EXPRESS MIZUKAZE, exploring the scenic beauty and cultural treasures of Western Japan in unparalleled style

  • Begin at Kyoto Station’s Hotel Granvia Mizukaze Lounge for a morning reception before boarding. Lunch is served in your suite, featuring Kyoto-style cuisine supervised by Kikunoi.

    In the afternoon, stroll around Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, exploring its canals and white-walled storehouses. Admission is provided to the Ohara Museum of Art, and guests may also choose to visit the exquisite Yurinso Villa.

    Back on board, enjoy a refined dinner in the dining car, where Western cuisine is presented under the direction of Hajime. Spend the night aboard the train.

  • Arrive in Matsue and visit Meimei-an Tea House for a tea ceremony experience, followed by a performance of Izumo Kagura, a traditional sacred dance of the region. Lunch is served at Shokkunomori Muneyama Farm’s Kayabuki House, offering local delicacies in a rustic setting.

    Return to the train in the evening for a kaiseki-style dinner supervised by Kikunoi, showcasing seasonal Japanese flavors. Overnight stay on board.

  • In the morning, arrive at Higashihama for a hands-on beach seine fishing experience.
    (Note: Fishing is an open-air experience. Due to cooking time constraints, the catch cannot be served for lunch or taken home.)

    In case of poor weather, the excursion will be replaced with a visit to the Sand Museum and a walk across the Tottori Sand Dunes.

    Afterward, enjoy seaside Italian cuisine at Al Mare, overlooking the coast. In the afternoon, the train makes its way back to Kyoto, concluding your journey.

1. Passenger Requirement 

Passengers must be 12 years of age or older to join this journey.  

2. Payment Method 

We accept Bank Transfers and Credit Card payments.  

3. Cancellation Policy  

The route and schedule for the train and bus excursions are pre-determined and cannot be altered. Please note that unforeseen circumstances may result in modifications to certain parts of the route.  

Payment Terms:  

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.  

Cancellation Fees:  

  • Cancellation 92 days or more before the departure date: 50% of the total package price.  

  • Cancellation 91 days or less before the departure date: 100% of the total package price.  

4. Not Included in This Tour Package  

  • Expenses for accompanying guides.  

  • Excess hand baggage charges for items exceeding the designated weight, volume, or number.  

  • Personal expenses such as cleaning, telephone, additional meals and beverages, and related tax and service charges.  

  • Medical expenses related to injury or illness.  

  • Some selected alcoholic beverages (e.g., vintage wine and champagne).  

  • Costs for additional preparations requested by customers during the itinerary.  

  • Costs incurred due to changes to optional plans during the itinerary.
